Financial assistance

Financial assistance for the 2023-2024 Undergraduate program in Pharmacy at IQS-Blanquerna

The IQS Centre d’Ensenyament Tècnic Superior Fundació Privada and the Fundació Blanquerna are non-profit organizations. They have limited funds to provide financial assistance to first-time Pharmacy Program students, what helps them cover part of the course fees. Students who receive the assistance may renew it each year provided they meet the established criteria. The assistance is provided by means of a discount to students’ monthly payments from the beginning of the academic year (October). The assistance does not cover the initial enrolment fee.

This assistance is compatible with other grants or public and/or private subsidies, unless otherwise stated.

Application process (First year students)

  1. Students will be able to collect an application form from the Student Information Desk (Servei d’Informació i Orientació a l’Estudiant) at the Blanquerna Faculty of Health Sciences or from the academic office for the Pharmacy Program (IQS office, Via Augusta, 390 -08017 Barcelona) once they have carried out the pre-enrolment process. The application form can also be downloaded from the websiteImpreso de solicitud.
  2. The application should be duly completed together with the appropriate documentation (see section on Documentation to be presented when applying for financial assistance).
  3. An interview is recommended for all students who request assistance, in order to evaluate the circumstances of each student. An appointment may be made when the application form and the documentation are submitted. If no interview is requested, the Financial Assistance Service may request further information and, if necessary, contact the student for a final assessment interview.
  4. The IQS-Blanquerna Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy Grant Committee will examine all applications and decide which students will receive assistance. The decision of the committee will be sent to the email students have included in the application form. The grants will be decided by 23 July 2019. Grants will only be made if students pass all the tests and comply with all entry requirements for the Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy at IQS-Blanquerna for which they are enrolled (by paying 50% of the annual fee).

Deadlines: The interview request for the assessment of financial aid begins with the beginning of the pre-registration campaign and will end on June 16, 2023 for the first resolution and on July 14, 2023 for the extraordinary resolution, at 8:00 p.m. No application will be accepted after the established deadlines.
